Breakfast Club

Breakfast club: Much more than toast and cereal.

At St. John’s we are proud of our children and are constantly searching for ways to promote a healthy lifestyle and to ensure that the interests of the children are paramount.
Our aim is to work more effectively with parents and carers and to achieve outcomes that matter most to children. Be Healthy: to work with the children to make the right choices for their diet. Be Safe: having a safe environment in which they can socialise and interact. Enjoy and Achieve: to enjoy a healthy breakfast which will set them up for the day ahead.

Open term time only:
7:30 to 8:45 cost (£3.00) (Pupil Premium £2.00)

Costs per session per child.
Booking required for 7:30 session. All booked sessions must be paid for, including any absences.

As you know the pupil premium grant is funding given directly from the government for children accessing Free School Meals and provided for a period of 6 years. Children who access the grant funding are entitled to additional funding which can be used in a variety of ways (for additional information see Pupil Premium details on the school website) If you feel that your child may be entitled to the Pupil Premium Grant call into school and the office staff will be more than happy to support you; it could make such a difference to the funding your child receives within school and only takes a quick phone call.

Breakfast club provides the children with the opportunity to engage in activities to prepare them for the day ahead.

Activities include:

  • Wii
  • Wake up and Shake up
  • Design and make
  • Crafts
  • Cooking
  • Skipping
  • Team games
  • Parachute
