Collective worship with parents

Year 5 celebrated their end of unit with a class collective worship reflecting on life choices and commitment to making our world a better place and treating it how God calls us to.
We invited in our parents to share and celebrate our learning.

Reciting Poetry

Year 5 learnt a class poem off by heart called ‘The Seas’.

Our collective worship on the topic ‘Ourselves’

This collective worship was planned by Ella, Reileigh, Angel and Nathan and they led the class in reflecting in good qualities God gives us to be peacemakers.

Anglo Saxon Tatton Park trip!

Year 5 had a fabulous experience at Tatton Park where they lived the life of an Anglo Saxon! We cooked bread with resources which the Anglo Saxons would have had, weaved to make braids, learnt how they would battle as warriors and discovered animals they hunted!

Rugby

In Year 5, we have been working with our sports coach to develop our rugby skills and agility.
